IN ONE-FIFTH of undetermined deaths a suicide note is found, meaning the number of suicides in Ireland is likely much higher than official figures state, the Joint Committee on Health and Children heard yesterday.

"The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties is hosting two events scheduled for Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Courthouse at New Philadelphia and Friday at 7:30 a.m. at Camp Wakonda at Leesville Lake in observance of World Suicide Prevention Day."
