A suicide bombing claimed by the Pakistani Taliban has killed at least 43 Shiite Muslims at a procession in southwest Pakistan. The assault sharply drove up the toll of sectarian assaults in a country battered by massive flooding.

This is the latest news as of September 4th.

"A suicide bomber in an explosives-packed car wounded at least 25 police officers in an attack on their base in Tajikistan Friday that left the building in flames, interior ministry officials said."
