Tragic Suicide Watch
I saw this posted Monday on WWW.KGOAM810.COM.
"A 70-year-old inmate on death row at California State Prison in San Quentin is dead after authorities say he committed suicide."
This is the latest news as of August 30th.
"A despondent 86-year-old man apparently doused himself in gasoline and set off a fire Monday that killed nine people in a Russian nursing home, investigators said."
I'll post more if I find anything else out.
Nathan writes: "HARRISONBURG - RMH Behavioral Health will host a daylong suicide prevention seminar next week in an effort to increase public awareness of mental health issues and what can be done to prevent suicide."

I heard about this and just found this story.
I found this posted at WWW.TELEGRAM.COM on Monday.
"KABUL, Afghanistan - U.S. and Afghan troops repelled attackers wearing American uniforms and suicide vests in a pair of simultaneous assaults before dawn Saturday on NATO bases near the Pakistani border, including one where seven CIA employees died in a suicide attack last year."
MAYSVILLE, N.C. - Neighbors entered through the back patio of a home to?introduce new wife, but finds?a homicide turned suicide.
My research with Scott lead me to this.
"In 2009, 39 Clermont County residents completed suicide. This is the highest suicide number seen, and it is believed the economy is playing a role in the increase in suicide deaths. It has been estimated that with one suicide, at least eight others are impacted."
My Uncle told me about this.
"The Clermont County Suicide Prevention Coalition will host its ninth annual candlelight vigil to remember, honor and cherish the lives of those lost to suicide in Clermont County in the past year."
Here is an intersting one:
"Suicide is a public health issue that is hard to talk about. However, with awareness and education of the signs of suicide, a community can decrease suicides."
