Medicare Watch
MIAMI - In a striking example of the conflicts between controlling health care costs and providing quality services, a group of South Miami cardiologists has written a letter to patients complaining that huge cuts in Medicare rates may force many heart specialists out of business or mean reduced services for their patients.
I saw this posted Wednesday.
"Three years after Sentara Medical Group opened 1,000 slots for Medicare patients, the problem appears to have been resolved."
