A lawyer has been charged in a fraudulent over-billing scheme that cost south suburban Calumet Park over a million dollars.

This is the latest news as of March 5th.
"Hiring a Florida personal injury lawyer is not difficult. But hiring the right person for the job, on the other hand, is a whole different issue. There are several lawyers practicing in the state and not all of them may be right for your case."

His prison term behind him, former Bridgeport Mayor Joseph P. Ganim took the first step Thursday to regaining his law license. Arnold approved a stipulated order signed by Ganim, his lawyer and Michael Bowler , statewide bar counsel, that set a number of conditions that he must abide by before he can practice law again.

The lawyer for the man who lost his appeal in the murder of Phoenix Sinclair says his client may try taking the case to the Supreme Court. Phoenix was neglected and severly abused. She died in June 2005 at the age of five.
