A lawsuit filed by three King County taxpayers, including a retired Seattle assistant city attorney, alleges the purchase an old Eastside rail line between Renton and Snohomish was illegal.

I heard about this and just found this story.

"A lawsuit filed against Rita Hunter, former Jasper County public administrator, will go to trial Sept. 7. A defense motion asking that the trial be delayed was overruled Tuesday by Jasper County Circuit Judge David Dally."
