A federal lawsuit has been filed against SuperValu, the parent company of Jewel-Osco, by the developer of a proposed shopping center with a Super Walmart store in western Mundelein. The lawsuit claims the supermarket chain engaged in a "dirty tricks" campaign to block the proposed Mundelein Walmart store.
