The new Google Instant search reveals streaming Web search results as fast as you type. As awesome as the concept might be, though, the results are confined to the Web. Google has the elements--combining Google Instant with Google Desktop--to develop a universal search capability that can drastically improve productivity.

Google plans to bring its new Google Instant predictive-search feature to the mobile space this fall, executives said Wednesday.

Google Voice has been offering plenty of new services lately, including adding a new missed call feature that will send out missed call notifications to your inbox or e-mail account.

I saw this posted at DEALBOOK.BLOGS.NYTIMES.COM.
