Google has overhauled its popular image search service, adding a number of features that should allow consumers to more quickly and easily find online pictures and art. My cousin, Bobby,told me about this.
"Google on Wednesday defended its Google News network as a means to help the news business flourish in an online world, but voiced its concern about several proposals submitted to a government agency, which ? among other things ? suggest enacting a "hot news" doctrine, allowing the licensing of news, and antitrust exemption for publications."
This is the latest news as of July 21st.
"Google plans to become carbon neutral at the same time promote green energy by entering into a 20-year agreement to buy power from an Iowa wind farm. The farm, part of NextEra Energy Resources in Story and Hardin counties, will sell Google 114 megawatts of renewable power. Google says that the energy it will buy is enough to power several of its data centers."

On Tuesday Google announced a series of updates to the design and presentation of the image search section on its Web site. The company also said it would begin offering advertising with images on these pages.
