(ARA) - Medications are part of a daily routine for people with diabetes . In fact, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 87 percent of adults diagnosed with diabetes take either insulin, oral medications or both.

I saw this posted Monday.
"The NHS is spending too much on diabetes drugs say researchers, who found the medicines account for 7% of the UK prescribing budget. A big rise in the number of people with type 2 diabetes in recent years does not fully explain the spiralling costs, say Cardiff University researchers."

This is the latest news as of July 26th.
"Diabetes is a common disease in Malaysia. According to the 3rd National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS), more than 10% of Malaysian adults above 18 years old have this disease. This is doubled the number in a survey done 10 years ago."
