A Jacksonville man was sentenced to 15 years in a state prison Aug. 19 after pleading guilty to nearly $50,000 in fraudulent credit card transactions between March and May 2009 throughout Nassau County.

School has started for many college students and as they walk around campus they might notice something missing: credit card solicitors. Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said students are being bombarded by credit card companies and he is calling on New York State schools to reform their approach towards student credit cards.
