In recognition of the 23rd Annual National Cancer Survivors Day, The Cancer Centers of St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston invite their patients to a Celebration of Life Luncheon on Sunday, Sept. 19.

"Oesophageal cancer rates in men have risen by 50 per cent over the last 25 years, according to new figures published by Cancer Research UK today.In 1983 around 2,600 men were diagnosed with oesophageal cancer - cancer of the food pipe - and according to the latest figures around 5,100 men were diagnosed with the disease."

Testicular cancer may be linked with abnormal fetal development, according to scientists who have developed a model to investigate how human testes develop in baby boys while they are in the womb.

The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority, which regulates the prices of medicines, has identified around 70 anti-cancer drugs, including anti-breast cancer medication Letrozole and anti-blood cancer drug Imatinib, for detailed price analysis.
